Driven by a deep passion for high-quality public spaces, we make a sustainable contribution toward building safe, vibrant, and welcoming environments for communities to enjoy.
As specialists in urban greenery, we support local authorities, landscape contractors, and designers across Europe in developing healthy, colourful, ecological, and climate-resilient surroundings.
To meet the demands of changing environments, Boot & Dart Boomkwekerijen introduces ‘Growing Heroes’—a brand developed to perform in challenging urban conditions. Grounded in our belief that green spaces are vital to sustainable living, we develop new plant varieties that go far beyond basic survival. ‘Growing Heroes’ unites our developed in-house and licensed varieties into a collection of exclusive cultivars, selected for their exceptional quality, vitality, climate resilience, biodiversity, and long-term reliability. These plants possess robust qualities, tailored for public spaces and major projects where performance requirements are exceptionally high.
Complementing our physical products is "De Groeniversiteit." By combining practical experience, scientific research, and sustainable entrepreneurship, this educational initiative aims to foster greener, healthier, and future-proof environments. Through an ongoing series of lectures, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities, we connect with industry professionals to advance expertise in public green spaces, climate adaptation, biodiversity, and urban forestry.
Drawing on a unique combination of practical experience, scientific knowledge and sustainable entrepreneurship,
De Groeniversiteit aims to contribute to greener, healthier and future-proof living environments.
Through lectures, workshops and other activities, we share knowledge with professionals on public green spaces, climate adaptation, biodiversity and urban greenery.
